I believe in being judged by my actions, not just my words. Having grown up in North Leeds and living in the Constituency, in Oakwood, I feel passionately about our City and improving the lives of local residents.
I have experience both in politics and business. Over the last 7 years I have demonstrated my commitment to the city as an elected Councillor for Roundhay Ward within the Leeds North East Constituency. I am proud of my achievements including securing huge investment to improve the terrible state of our roads.
I have 12 years experience in business as a Project and Portfolio Manager at BT Global Services with responsibility for delivering projects of a value of £10-12million per year. I am Chairman of Re'new, a not-for-profit company employing around 100 people, for which I do not draw a salary or expenses. Re’new specialises in regeneration schemes and one-to-one support for unemployed people in Leeds.
I'm 34 years old and married to Amy. |
